God centered
Everything we do must glorify God reflecting our total dependence on Him.

For God so loved the World.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that however believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Family
It is the building blocks of the church and society.
Malachi 2:15 Didn’t the Lord make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are His. And what does He want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart, remain loyal to the wife of your youth.

Team
We honour the principle of team and teamwork led by God appointed leaders.
Ephesians 4:16 He makes the whole body fit together and unites it through the support of every joint. As each and every part does its job, he makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Community
Jesus came to build a family – in community the Scriptures come alive!
Acts 2:44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common.

Christ like
Our goal is to become like Jesus and reflect Him through the Church, His body.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.

Reaching out
We are here not only for ourselves.
Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.

Relationships
We see that essentially, God is a God of relationships.
John 13:34-35 I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, if you have toward one another.

Kingdom
We have a cause to serve the King and His Kingdom.
Matthew 6:10 Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Legacy
We hold that success is only seen in a successor.
Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children…

Liberty
Freedom for each member to express their God given gift in ministry.
1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Work
Our work is our worship.
John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, ‘My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.
Genesis 2:15 Then Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

The Bible
We believe that the Bible [the old and new testament] in its original text is fully inspired by God and accept it as the supreme and final authority for faith and life.

The Godhead
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and is true God and true man.

Sin
We believe that God created man in His own image; that man sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of sin which is death physically and spiritually; that all human beings inherit a sinful nature which issues [in the case of those who reach moral responsibility] in actual transgression, involving personal guilt.

Sexuality
With regard to sexual behaviour, we believe in heterosexual relationships between a natural man and a natural woman with the confines of lawful matrimony.

Salvation
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, a substitutionary sacrifice according to the Scriptures and that all who repent of sin, believe in Him and receive forgiveness are justified on the grounds of His shed blood and become born again of the Holy Spirit thereby becoming children of God.

Resurrection
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus, His ascension into Heaven, His present life as our High Priest and Advocate and His personal return. We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal banishment of those who have rejected the offer of salvation.

Infilling of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering and equipping believers for service, with the accompanying supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit; and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Gifts to the Body of Christ
We believe in the divinely ordained ministries of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher.

Submission and Authority
We believe in the principle of being in authority because you are under authority. As such, it is understood that all members of the body shall be subject to submission to authority in matters pertaining to church governance, doctrine and personal behaviour.

The Body of Christ / The Church
We believe that the one true Church is the whole company of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit; that the local church on earth should take its character from this concept of the Church spiritual and therefore that the new birth and personal confession of Christ are essentials of church membership.

Ordinances
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances – baptism in water and the Lord’s Supper to be observed as acts of obedience and as perpetual witnesses to the cardinal facts of the Christian faith, that Baptism is the immersion of the believer in water as a confession of identification with Christ in burial and resurrection, and that the Lord’s Supper is the partaking of the emblems symbolic of the Saviour’s broken body and shed blood, in remembrance of His sacrificial death, until He comes.

Healing
We believe that divine healing was provided for in the Old and New Testament, and is an integral part of the Gospel.

Sanctification
We believe that the Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of the new birth and continuing until the consummation of salvation.
